No desire to see Nuggets

After not attending a Nuggets game for 15 years, I was offered some tickets to the recent game against the Rockets and decided to attend. I had heard about the excitement surrounding the Nuggets’ acquisition of Allen Iverson and thought I would see what all the hoopla is about.

Big mistake. The product is still the same, and it’s not basketball. Watching players palm the ball, walk, maul each other and throw up bricks without even making a pass is not my idea of basketball. Now I remember why I quit watching professional hoops and watch only college hoops.

Buffs deserve better play

I realize the CU men’s basketball team is not major local sporting news, but when a story about a Nuggets big man needing to go on a diet is more important than what may be the only Big 12 win this season for the Buffs, you have to question the sports department’s priorities in identifying lead stories. Trust me, this is breaking news.
