Qwest today said it signed a three-year deal to provide to provide data networking services for the city of Los Angeles’ Information Technology Agency.

Denver-based Qwest will connect the agency with its Washington, D.C., office and deliver redundant Internet connectivity to the city using private network technology called iQ Networking.

Qwest launched iQ Networking in early 2004. Financial terms weren’t released.
