The Colorado Division of Wildlife has scheduled a Thursday meeting to discuss the status and management of bighorn sheep in the Gunnison River Basin. The 7 p.m. meeting will be at the agency’s Gunnison office, 300 W. New York St.

A meeting for landowners who are interested in leasing property for spring turkey and fall waterfowl hunting under the Division of Wildlife’s walk-in access program is scheduled Monday in Cortez at Koko’s Pub, 2121 E. Main St.
The agency will pay from $5 to $20 per acre, depending upon size and quality of the parcel.

Conejos Superfly
Up to 70 teams will be accepted for the second annual Conejos Superfly fishing tournament April 27-29. The event hosted by the Conejos River Anglers shop at Mogote will feature a variety of prizes, awards dinner and gifts.
