Last week: the mascot for 102.7 FM KYGT radio in Idaho Springs

The winner: Becky Wilson, Idaho Springs

This scruffy face is one I know well, as I drive by it every day on my way home from school. This photo shows the wooden embodiment of the mascot for KGOAT radio. This eclectic-looking goat reflects the station in many ways, from the material it broadcasts to the people who volunteer there.

Wicked wit: Bill and Gayle Murphy, Lakewood

That handsome fellow is standing at the front door of one of the best independent radio stations in the country, KGOAT. His personality is much like the folks who keep that station going … strong of character, wicked in wit, clever as can be and resourceful to all ends. Aside from some great music and their annual Blues Festival, KGOAT keeps the citizens of Clear Creek County involved and informed of the political and environmental issues that will impact the county.
