AURORA – Police arrested a man suspected of impersonating a police officer after a witness saw him driving a Nissan with illuminated red and blue emergency lights on the dashboard, authorities said Monday.
Christopher Steven Harris, 19, was arrested Friday and released on a $2,000 bond, police said.
A witness called police when he saw the Nissan pulled up behind a burgundy sedan in the area of South Tower Road and East Hampden Avenue, police said.
The witness reported that there was no rear license plate on the Nissan, which he found suspicious and monitored the situation, police said.
