SKI THE MOGULS
“Marry Me and Ski for Free”
Loveland Ski Area
303-571-5580, ext. 141, skiloveland.com/wedding
We doubt that many people would commit to a sanctified relationship to save on lift tickets, but one never knows. For the 16th year, anybody who shows up with a marriage license at the top of Loveland’s Chair 2 at high noon on Valentine’s Day could find themselves hitched. Or renew your vows at 12,000 feet. There’s a reception afterward with food, music and gifts. Register by Monday and get two-for-one lift tickets for your romantic adventure.

2:30 p.m. Feb. 18
Buntport Theater, 717 Lipan St., Denver

Spend the evening with one of literature’s most dysfunctional families, Tennessee Williams’ Pollitt clan. There’s Brick, the ex-football star drinking away his pain over a friend’s suicide. Wife Maggie alternates between love and loathing. Big Daddy is dying, siblings are posturing, and everybody lies to everybody else. Craig A. Bond directs the Vintage Theatre production.
