Police at the University of Colorado in Boulder are looking for a young man who has been entering dormitories early in the morning, acting drunk and trying to get into bed with co-ed students.

Around 3 a.m. Friday, the man reportedly entered rooms in Baker, Libby and Smith halls looking for a place to sleep, police said. Acting as if he were drunk, the man crawled into one woman’s bed and fondled her before a roommate was able to force him out of the room.

On Saturday, around 5 a.m., a man entered a room in the Kittredge West Residence Hall, got into bed with a female and tried to kiss her. The victim, who said the man acted drunk but didn’t smell like alcohol, was able to force him out of her room.

The suspect in both instances is described as a white male, 18 to 22 years old, 5-feet-10 to 6 feet tall with a thin build and a tan complexion.

Campus police urge anyone contacted by this man or who sees strangers in the school’s dormitories to call 9-1-1 from any campus phone or 303-492-6666 from a cell phone or non-campus phone. Anyone with information about this man is asked to call 303-492-8168.

Police also urge students to make sure all outside doors in the dormitories are shut and secured.
