First Data Corp., a Greenwood Village-based provider of electronic commerce and payment services, has acquired the assets of Datawire Communication Networks Inc., an Internet-based transaction-delivery provider. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Ceragenix Pharmaceuticals Inc., a Denver-based biopharmaceutical company, reported it has completed the patient visit phase of its clinical study evaluating the efficacy of Epi Ceram over a midstrength topical steroid in treating patients with moderate to severe dermatitis. The final study report is expected between the end of March and mid-April.
