CANON CITY, Colo.-
A Fort Collins man was arrested in Canon City on charges of Internet luring and attempted sexual assault on a child, police said.
Michael J. Kalter, 30, also faces a charge of child enticement, police said.
Police released few details but said in a news release that Kalter had driven from Fort Collins to Canon City and that the arrest was the result of an online investigation.
Police said Kalter previously had been arrested in New Jersey on charges of aggravated assault with a weapon, aggravated sexual assault with a weapon and possession of a firearm for unlawful purposes.
He was being held at the Fremont County jail under $15,000 bail.
Kalter had no listed phone number.
