BOULDER, Colo.-

A man jailed on suspicion of talking his way into dorm rooms of women at the University of Colorado and groping two of them is not a CU student, police said.

Campus police arrested a suspect late Friday on suspicion of 10 counts of second-degree burglary, two counts of unlawful sexual contact and one count of harassment.

Police said they were withholding his name so as not to taint an ongoing investigation, but the daily jail log of the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office identified him as a 20-year-old man.

Police said the suspect lives in Boulder County but does not attend CU.

His bond was set at $2,500.

Women in four residence halls reported that a man barged into their rooms early on Feb. 16 and 17, claiming he needed a place to stay because he was too drunk to get home.

Detectives suspect he barged into at least 10 dorm rooms, inhabited by 23 people.
