LARAMIE, Wyo.-

Aubrey Vandiver scored 15 points in leading Wyoming past Colorado State 72-37 Sunday.

Jodi Bolerjack contributed 12 points for Wyoming (18-8, 9-5 Mountain West Conference).

Colorado State (8-19, 3-12) has lost 12 of its last 14 games. Nya Mason led the Rams with 14 points.

Wyoming coach Joe Legerski said he was pleased with his team’s defensive effort.

“I couldn’t be prouder of a group of young women for the defensive effort today,” Legerski said. “… We knew we had to come out with a great deal of defensive intensity to make sure they didn’t get off early.”

The game attracted more than 5,000 people, setting an attendance record for a Wyoming women’s game for regular or postseason play.
