Snowshoe Tour
Vista Verde Ranch, just off Seedhouse Road, near Clark

Each Friday through March, the Vista Verde Ranch opens up its grounds for a free snowshoe tour. A naturalist leads the walk pointing out different trees and wildlife. You can grab a meal before or after the tour, which heads out at 2 p.m. The ranch, near Steamboat Springs, is easy to find, but you’ll need directions, available at vistaverde.com. You’ll also need reservations, so call ahead.
