Las Vegas – Kevin Kruger scored a game-high 16 points and had nine assists to lead UNLV over Colorado State 65-47 on Saturday night in the Mountain West Conference regular-season finales for both teams.

Joel Anthony added 10 points and eight blocked shots for UNLV (25-6, 12-4), which finished second in the conference behind BYU.

The Rebels never trailed and led 34-19 at intermission. The Rams cut it to 40-32 with 13:20 left but came no closer. UNLV later built its largest lead, 63-43, with 2:26 left.

Jason Smith led Colorado State (16-12, 6-10) with 12 points and 15 rebounds. Stephan Gilling added nine points for the Rams.
