Pat Waak has been re-elected as chairwoman of the Colorado Democratic Party.
The party’s state central committee on Saturday also re-elected first vice chair Dan Slater, second vice chair Margaret Atencio, secretary Carolyn Boller and treasurer Mark Ferrandino to two-year terms.
Colorado Republicans on Saturday picked Dick Wadhams to be the new chairman for the state Republican Party, which has lost a U.S. Senate seat, two U.S. House seats, the governor’s office and control of the Legislature in recent years.
