The Colorado Division of Wildlife will host a meeting of Colorado Springs-area anglers March 19 to discuss the latest regulations and plans affecting the region. Fisheries biologists will answer questions during a 7 p.m. session at DOW’s regional headquarters, 4255 Sinton Road.
Pheasants for youth
The Metro Denver Chapter of Pheasants Forever will join the Colorado Division of Wildlife in providing a March 17 hunt for 18 youth selected in an earlier drawing. The event at Strasburg Game Birds Hunting Preserve will feature instruction in hunting basics and ethics by members of Pheasants Forever and members of DOW’s hunter outreach sections.
Northeast deer meeting
The Division of Wildlife will host a March 29 meeting in Fort Morgan to sample public opinion about deer management in units 87, 88, 89, 90 and 95. The 7-9 p.m. meeting will be at the Founders Room at Morgan Community College, 920 Barlow Road.
