A Pabst Blue Ribbon panel will be appointed to investigate
The buck stops … for beer, according to one lawmaker.
Recognized as “the bartender from the Blue Parrot” by Rep. Michael Garcia, D-Aurora, while chairing debate in the House, Rep. Paul Weissmann offered news from the eatery at which he’s employed.
“I’m sad to say Pabst is no longer a dollar,” said the Louisville Democrat, who tends bar at the Blue Parrot when he’s not making laws. “We’re working on it.”
At least she didn’t rap his head
The Senate went to the dogs, and cats, briefly Monday after Sen. David Schultheis voted against a bill to extend the pet overpopulation fund program on income-tax-return forms.
Senate President Joan Fitz-Gerald, D-Jefferson County, met the news with a proclamation for the Colorado Springs Republican: “May your pack have many kittens.”
Republicans seated around Schultheis then started yipping and howling.
