DENVER-

Defensive end Kenny Peterson re-signed with the Denver Broncos on Tuesday.

Peterson signed with the Broncos on Oct. 11 to replace Courtney Brown, who had to undergo a left knee operation five weeks into the season. Terms were not released.

Green Bay picked Peterson in the third-round of the 2003 draft. In 37 career regular-season games, Peterson has 56 tackles, three sacks, five pass breakups, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.

Green Bay cut him on Sept. 2.
