Nuggets assistant coach Mike Dunlap on Tuesday took himself out of the running for the University of Colorado head coaching opening.
Dunlap released the following statement:
“After careful deliberation, I have decided to remove my name from consideration for the head coaching vacancy at the University of Colorado.
“I would like to thank Mike Bohn and Tom McGrath for their interest in me. They are both first-class professionals and it was an honor to be considered for the position.”
Colorado is looking for a replacement for Ricardo Patton.
