GADGET|Sony’s new 6-megapixel Cyber-shot DSC-G1 camera ($600) lets you send your images wirelessly to some, but not all, PCs, cameras and similar digital devices. Sony boasts that the new camera has a large, high-resolution LCD screen and a 2-gigabyte internal memory. That’s enough to hold 600 6-megapixel images or 7,500 lower-quality images. The new Cyber-shot can send images to other devices that are part of the Digital Living Network Alliance, or DLNA.|Eric Gwinn, Chicago Tribune

DON’T-MISS TV|”War Zone Diary,” by NBC’s Richard Engel, the only TV news correspondent to cover the entire war in Iraq for an American network, airs at 8 p.m. Wednesday on MSNBC (Comcast channel 65). Starting when he was a freelancer in 2003 Iraq, through his time as NBC News Middle East bureau chief, Engel offers a reporter’s notebook of his experiences.
