Getting your player ready...

So you say you slacked yourself out of registration for Saturday’s Moab Adventure Xstream 12-hour adventure race? No worries. Just head south, slip that slack-o-meter into overdrive and take the Plunge down to Telluride.

Kicking off with a Friday night hip-hop show at the Fly Me to the Moon Saloon, The Plunge Music Festival (970-728-7400) pumps up the spring break volume at Hoot Brown Park (in the mountain terrain park) with a free DJ-accompanied Rail Jam from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Do it — Call 970-728-7491 for more info. Also, check out the Bud Light Spring Jam in Aspen/Snowmass March 22-25, combining new school competitions, concerts and parties. All outdoor events and activities are free and open to the public (www.aspensnowmass.com).
