So what’s she gonna sing? She does many styles of music well, but Patti LuPone has decided on an all-Broadway program for her Nov. 3 concert celebrating Opera Colorado’s 25th anniversary.

That’s the latest from marketing director Becky Lathrop, who says LuPone had originally planned to combine Broadway tunes with opera and Hollywood favorites. LuPone most recently starred on Broadway as Mrs. Lovett in “Sweeney Todd”; in January, she made her debut with the Los Angeles Opera in its production of Kurt Weill’s “Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny.”

Kalleen Malone and Marcia Robinson are chairing the anniversary gala with Walter and Christie Isenberg leading the corporate sales effort. Honorary chairs are Opera Colorado founder Nat Merrill and his wife, Pamela Meyers Merrill, and Ellie Caulkins. Tickets, starting at $400, go on sale in late summer.
