Getting your player ready...
Colorado State football players who couldn’t wait to start spring practice Saturday will have to wait another day.
With clear skies in the forecast after a 24-hour drenching, CSU will take the field at 11 a.m. today. With only two practices scheduled the first week in April, there will be ample time for a makeup date.
“I would rather wait a day to get going than go in the rain and risk injuring someone or not have a good workout,” said CSU coach Sonny Lubick.
The Rams return nine starters each on offense and defense, but there will be extensive work ahead this spring retooling the offensive line and linebacking corps.
