RIFLE, Colo.-

A plane that ruptured its gas tank after it lost control and skidded off the runway at Garfield County Airport sustained $15 million in damage, authorities said.

The Falcon 900 was carrying three people when it landed Friday night.

The pilot, co-pilot and flight attendant on board were not injured, Garfield County sheriff’s officials said.

The National Safety Transportation Board was investigating what led to the rough landing.
