A man accused of giving marijuana to a 5-year-old child at their Lakewood home has entered guilty pleas to charges against him.

Jason Jay Ladehoff, 21, pleaded guilty today to contributing to the deliquency of a minor, a felony, and misdemeanor child abuse, the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office announced today.

Ladehoff and his girlfriend, Regina Martinez, 25, were arrested Jan. 9 after a man who went to the couple’s home to buy pot tipped-off authorities about the child’s marijuana use.

The boy at first denied smoking pot at his home on the 9600 block of West 16th Avenue but later admitted to police that he smoked and drank alcohol on several occasions.

Martinez has a court date set for April 23. She remains in jail on a $15,000 bond.

Ladehoff also remains in jail, on a $10,000 bond, and is scheduled to be sentenced April 23. He faces a possible prison sentence of up to six years.
