A man accused of giving marijuana to a 5-year-old child at their Lakewood home has entered guilty pleas to charges against him.

Jason Jay Ladehoff, 21, pleaded guilty Monday to contributing to the delinquency of a minor, a felony, and misdemeanor child abuse, the Jefferson County district attorney’s office announced Monday.

Ladehoff and his girlfriend, Regina Martinez, 25, were arrested Jan. 9 after a man who went to the couple’s home to buy pot tipped off authorities about the child’s marijuana use.

The boy at first denied smoking pot but later told police he smoked and drank alcohol several times at his home in the 9600 block of West 16th Avenue.

Ladehoff faces up to six years in prison.
