My favorite subject: Spanish, because I get to learn a different language and have fun while doing it.
My favorite athlete: Ivan Rodriguez, one of the best catchers and he’s fundamentally sound.
My favorite team: Boston Red Sox, because I’m a fan of Manny Ramirez and it’s fun to watch him play.
What I listen to: Rock, hip-hop and alternative rock.
The best thing on my training table: My mom’s cooking, pastas for energy.
Pregame ritual: I usually play catch with the same person and dress the same before each game.
Time management tip: I use my in-class time wisely and get most of my work done at school. School comes first, then sports.
Planned career: Coach or player; undecided on college.
My family: Parents Denise and Gino; brothers Hondo, Mariana and Emilio.
I would love to visit: Boston, to see the Red Sox play.
What I like most about high school sports: Just the relationships I have with friends and growing with them.
What I like least about high school sports: I would like it if the seasons were longer.
