Nenad Gajic’s two goals kick-started a four-goal run in the second half as the Colorado Mammoth of the National Lacrosse League rallied for an 11-9 victory over the Minnesota Swarm on Saturday in front of 10,114 fans at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn.

With the Swarm leading 8-6 in the third quarter, the Mammoth (11-3) scored four unanswered goals, including Gajic’s short-handed tally midway through the third.

Gajic’s second goal, 11 seconds into the fourth quarter, tied the game at 8-8. Then Brian Langtry and Gavin Prout put the Mammoth ahead to stay.

Prout led Colorado with four goals and two assists. Dan Carey had a team-high four assists. Chris Levis made 39 saves for Colorado, which snapped a two-game losing skid.

Dean Hill led the Swarm (6-6) with four goals.

“I was very happy with the way we finished this game,” Mammoth coach Gary Gait said. “After playing poorly on Friday night, it was great to see us pull together in the second half tonight and get a win.”

Colorado remains in first place in the NLL’s West Division with two games remaining.
