Earth Day entertaining
April 22 is the 37th annual Earth Day. This year, instead of resolving to be Earth-friendly for just one day, use it as a chance to start being more environmentally conscious at home. Need help? Evite developed these ideas for throwing an eco-friendly party.
Never ride alone. Encourage guests to walk, ride a bike or carpool.
Use eco-chic decorations. Consider live greenery for your party décor. Different types of plants, floral arrangements and bamboo provide ambiance and are natural air purifiers.
Think lasting, not disposable. In 2005 alone, Americans used and discarded nearly 14.4 billion disposable paper cups. Invest in more environmentally responsible alternatives like reusable enamel dishware for parties to save trees and money.
