After you go, flush!
37th annual Flauschink finale
9 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Crested Butte Mountain Resort
Flauschink, Crested Butte’s annual celebration that flushes out winter and welcomes spring, swirls to its end today, as does ski season. The king and queen of Flauschink, raising scepters made from toilet plungers, will hold court on Flauschink Hill, above the Twister warming house deck. Check out a reprisal of one of the town’s most favorite annual events at the Crested Butte Mountain Heritage Museum, 331 Elk Ave., which has posters, photos and buttons from fests past on display.
