House data sent to cellphones

A Denver company is beta-testing technology that will allow people to receive free, accurate property values and information on more than 77 million homes nationwide via mobile phone and text-messaging.

HouseFront users simply type the property address into their cellphones and send it to the common short code 46873 (HOUSE). HouseFront then sends a response that includes the home’s estimated value and characteristics such as the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, total square footage, last date sold and neighborhood trends.

The service is free, but text-messaging rates apply.

Work starts on residence club

A Winter Park development team has started work on a new residence club that will feature custom single- family log homes in a full-service resort environment.

The Cabins Club at Winter Park will include three 4,000-square-foot luxury log homes in a full-service resort environment, including a club concierge, front desk, on-site hospitality staff and complete property maintenance and management. Club members will be able to use a home for an average of 6 1/2 weeks a year by paying a refundable deposit of $239,000 and annual club dues throughout the life of the membership. The team developing the project includes Sue Neumann, Carl Banta, Brian Hoglund and Tim Johnson.

Residential project set near DU

Hayden Hirschfeld plans to break ground by December on a 20-unit residential project near the University of Denver. Asbury Court, at East Asbury Avenue and Downing Street, will include three single-family homes and 17 townhouses priced at $450,000 to $550,000. The residences will take about a year to complete.

Telluride luxury plan to begin

A Washington company will break ground this spring on Silverline, a luxury residential resort in Telluride’s Mountain Village. Developed by Monument Realty, the project will include 90 residences priced from $515,000 for a studio to more than $10 million for a seven- bedroom home. They’ll be ready for occupancy in the winter of 2009.

The development also will include a 40,000-square- foot community recreation center with an indoor water park, fitness center, arcade, rock-climbing wall and bowling alley that will be open to the public.
