Critics of District Attorney Bonnie Roesink came up short in their petition to launch a recall election, the secretary of state’s office said Monday.
Supporters submitted petitions containing space for only 2,945 qualified signatures, well short of the 3,802 signatures needed, secretary of state spokesman Jonathan Tee said.
Roesink’s district includes Grand, Moffat and Routt counties.
