Site of the week: We’ve written recently about the increasing variety and edginess of the entertainment on airline video systems. Most people think that’s a good thing. But some parents worry about violent movies shown on the all-cabin, overhead screens, when they can’t shield their children from what’s happening. One angry parent, Jesse Kalisher, has started a website and petition to present to the airlines to ask them to program their all-cabin screens with those children in mind. At kidsafe films.org, Kalisher says he is not driven by a religious crusade but by simple questions of taste and age-appropriate media.
