Phoenix – Brian Lawrence’s future with the Rockies will be resolved on Monday afternoon, according to his agent.
Lawrence has agreed to make a final rehab start tomorrow in Tucson for Triple-A Colorado Springs.
Lawrence is eligible to come off the disabled list on Monday, at which time the Rockies will let him know whether they plan to add him to their 25-man roster. If they don’t, Lawrence can become a free agent.
“Brian decided to pitch one more time with the understanding they will make a decision on Monday afternoon,” said agent Page Odle.
