DENVER-

Coloradans soon will have yet another warning system to deal with: animal alerts.

The Division of Wildlife has created sandwich board signs that will warn if a bear, mountain lion or coyote has been spotted in the area.

Debbie Lerch, northeast region education coordinator for the wildlife department, said she hopes people will pay attention to the signs to avoid conflicts.
