What about CU?
I was pleased to see the extensive media coverage of the exoneration of the Duke lacrosse players. After an agenda-fueled lynch mob stirred up a media frenzy with no facts, it is nice to see these young men regain some of their dignity through the legal system. It saddens me that the same type of coverage has been entirely absent following the CU “recruiting scandal” that produced zero criminal charges, yet generated national headlines for many of the same reasons as what happened at Duke. People were fired, young men’s lives were ruined. Where is the national media coverage exonerating those wrongfully accused in Boulder? The silence is deafening.

The Drury curse
The Drury curse lives on for another year. That’s right, I did it. I can’t take credit all by myself, though. If Pierre (Lacroix) wouldn’t have traded “my boy,” I would have never put the curse on the Avalanche franchise.
But there it is for everyone for 100 years to see. The Avalanche will not win another Stanley Cup until the 101st year after the curse.

Admirable run
The Avalanche’s run was commendable, admirable and a pleasure to watch. They unified as one to knock off teams more talented than them. It’s a shame the Nuggets, Rockies and Broncos do not have such heart.
