Getting your player ready...

It’s Earth Day, and there are plenty of green celebrations to get in on. But this year, we’re partial to the Earth Fair doings in Fort Collins’ City Park, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. The park is north of Mulberry Street and east of Taft Hill Road. This year, the fun includes booths, bands – including Emile Fehler, Whiplash String Band, Wasabi and the Jimi Austin – food, stuff for the kids to do, and representatives of the Beehive Design Collective will be buzzing around too. Once you’ve got your green on, head on east to the funky, indie quarter of town, north and west of Old Town Square. – Dana Coffield
