Alicia Silverstone admits she wasn’t always a health nut. The actress told the new In Style Home magazine “steak and doughnuts” were her diet staples before she became a vegan. “Now I’m a total health nut,” said Silverstone, 30. “I don’t get sick very often, and when I do it’s for a short period.” Her favorite workout is jumping on the trampoline in the backyard of the Los Angeles home she shares with her husband, musician Christopher Jarecki, 36. “It’s great exercise and really makes you giggle,” she said.
Courtney Love is fighting tabloid rumors she lost all that weight – 52 pounds, she claims – through gastric band surgery. Talking about photos of the new-look Love on the Internet and in the tabloids, the singer-actress told People magazine, “I didn’t have a scar for gastric (bypass). I’m not eligible for that. It’s illegal for me to get that. You have to be 100 pounds overweight, you have to be grossly obese.” Love, who said she was more than 180 pounds at her heaviest, said the turning point came during a photo shoot for Italian Vogue magazine. “I couldn’t fit into anything, all the backs had to be cut out, and I was like, ‘I’m gonna fit into sample size, (expletive)!’ And that was my New Year’s resolution.” Love said her regimen included nutritional shakes, fish and vegetables and a workout routine of running, Pilates and yoga. She also had her breast implants removed.
Kelly Ripa, host of Sunday night’s TV Land Awards and mother of three, when asked by “Extra” about having more children: “I just got my fabulous toned body. Can’t I enjoy it? I’m just enjoying wearing my good butt jeans.”

Fellow Brit Heather Mills’ success apparently may have swayed show producers to invite Beckham. The former Spice Girl’s NBC reality series may be derailed, according to several reports, so she may be available.
