It’s a two-step dance, this fly-fishing. First you learn to tie and select an effective fly. Then you develop the skill to deliver it. An April 29 event at Orvis Englewood will help you learn both. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the store at 9615-A E. County Line Road will offer a lineup of expert fly-tyers who’ll demonstrate favorite patterns: Chuck Obermeyer, Rick Murphy, Brody Henderson, Mike Kulhawick and Tucker Bamford. Casting lessons will proceed – Gary Okizaki from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Dan Wright from 2-5 p.m. For information, call 303-768-9600.
