Kyle Jones, a senior at Bear Creek High School in Lakewood, is a Boettcher Scholar semi-finalist and a valedictorian candidate with a 4.0 grade-point average.
He is an Eagle Scout, member of the National Honor Society and captain of the varsity Knowledge Bowl team.
Kyle plays the euphonium and trombone, and is in the Bear Creek Concert Band, Jazz Band, Wind Ensemble and Jazz Combo. He is the drum major of the marching band.
Kyle played the role of the wizard in “Once Upon a Mattress” and Marcellus Washburn in “The Music Man.”
He has received the American Chemical Society Award and is a lifeguard at the Ridge Recreation Center in Littleton.
Kyle plans on attending the University of Northern Colorado or the University of Colorado with the goal of becoming a high school music teacher.
