Outlaws trade Zywicki to Rochester
The Denver Outlaws of the Major Lacrosse League traded attackman Jeff Zywicki and a second-round pick to the Rochester Rattlers in exchange for attackman Chris Unterstein. Playing for the San Jose Stealth in April, Zywicki helped eliminate the Colorado Mammoth from the National Lacrosse League quarterfinals. He scored seven goals in that game and taunted the Pepsi Center crowd after scoring the game-winner in overtime.
“We wish (Zywicki) the best of luck in Rochester,” Outlaws general manager Brian Reese said. “I believe this trade will benefit both teams.”
Unterstein was the eighth overall pick in the 2006 MLL draft.
