Denver International Airport set another record for passenger traffic in March, with nearly 4.4 million travelers using the airport in the month, DIA reported this morning. It was a 4.3 percent increase over traffic in March 2006, which held the previous record.
For the first three months of the year, passenger traffic was up 4.7 percent to nearly 11.6 million passengers at DIA, a record quarter.
DIA manager Turner West said in a written statement, “based on these early numbers, it looks like we’re headed for an extremely busy summer.”
