Shrek Smoothies
The big green guy might have made a deal with McDonald’s, but movie critic Michael Booth and food editor Kristen Browning-Blas are drinking spinach-mango shakes in honor of “Shrek the Third.” The Post’s resident raw dieter, Terilyn Epperson, turned us on to these surprisingly tasty drinks from Victoria Boutenko at . Makes 2-3 servings.
Ingredients
2 cups spinach
1 cup water
1 mango, fresh or 1 cup frozen mango
1 banana
4-5 tablespoons agave nectar or honey
1 cup ice
Directions
Blend spinach and water in a blender until spinach is puréed. Add remaining ingredients and blend to desired consistency.
