JOHNSON & WALES UNIVERSITY: Named Vincent Wincelowicz department chairman of the College of Business. Wincelowicz joined the university as a full-time faculty member in 2003.

OCCMED COLORADO: Hired Lisa Selby to direct its sales operations. The occupational-medicine and musculoskeletal-care practice also added nurse practitioner Monica Fanning to its staff.

DENVER HEALTH: Announced that two employees were recently honored for excellence in teaching by the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center. Jim Sampson of the Denver Public Health Infectious Disease Clinic received the President’s Excellence in Teaching Award from the School of Nursing, and Dr. Roger Helfrich, a psychiatrist, received the 2007 Eleanor Steele Award from the Department of Psychiatry.

COLORADO SCHOOL OF MINES: Announced that Ambassador Mohd Azhari Bin Abdul Karim, former undersecretary of foreign affairs in the Malaysian government, will be a Fulbright Visiting Scholar this fall in the Division of Liberal Arts and International Studies.

PEAK CAPITAL RESOURCES: Named Fred Shaw, Leslie de Villiers, Tom Bogard and Paul Hoeper directors of business development for the northern, Denver, southern and Western Slope offices, respectively.
