Aurora – One man was killed and a home was damaged Thursday night in a hail of bullets at East 19th Avenue and Chester Street near Montview Park, Aurora police Detective Bob Friel said.
The victim’s identity was not available.
Police responded just after 10:30 p.m. and found the victim lying near the intersection with several bullet wounds. He died later at an Aurora area hospital, Friel said.
Bullets also entered a nearby house, but there were no reports of anyone injured inside the home.
Investigators were responding to the scene to interview witnesses. There was no information about suspects, Friel said.
