LAKEWOOD, Colo.-
Mullen won only two relays Saturday, but it didn’t keep the school from defending its girls championship at the Colorado Class 4A Track and Field Championships held at Jefferson County Stadium.
Mullen won the 3,200-meter relay in 9 minutes, 26.66 seconds and closed the meet by running 3:57.10 to win the 1,600-meter relay.
Mullen won the team title with 84 points, to 72 for Thompson Valley. Broomfield was third at 58 1-2 points.
Conifer’s Emily Blok was a two-time winner. She won the 100 meters with a time of 12.11 seconds and the 200 with a 25-second sprint.
