PHOENIX-
Officials in Maricopa County in Arizona are working on enlisting the help of illegal immigrants in the event of a bioterrorism attack.
Officials say illegal immigrants need to know they should go to a health care center immediately if such an attack occurred, but many might be afraid to report.
That could result in spreading the disease.
Mark Hart, a health department special-populations coordinator, said immigrants will be among the hardest to contact in such an event. And once they are informed they need to know they can come in without fear.
