Aurora police have issued an arrest warrant for a 20-year-old man wanted in the murder of an Aurora woman over the weekend.
Wanted for first-degree murder is Parish Deshawn Washington, described as a light-skinned black male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 136 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Police said they went to an apartment building late Friday in the 1900 block of Del Mar Parkway where they found a woman in the hallway with a gunshot wound in her torso.
Molicia Rochelle Nunn, 40, was transported to a local hospital where she died on Saturday. The Adams County Coroner ruled today that the cause of her death was homicide.
Anyone with information about Washington is asked to call Det. Steve Conner at 303-739-6190.
Aurora police also said another homicide occurred late Friday, when Christian Lavelle Felder, 20, was shot and killed in the 1900 block of Chester Street.
Police said Felder was a known gang member but said they were uncertain if the shooting was gang-related.
Felder was with a 21-year-old woman when he was shot but police declined to identify her. She also was shot but was treated and released.
