Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson road-tested the CelebrityBed! at Leeds mattress store recently in Santa Monica, Calif. According to National Enquirer’s Mike Walker, the acting couple stretched side-by-side on a mattress and even started to make out. An elderly lady reportedly smacked Wilson on his rear and retorted: “Stop! If you want to do that, get a room. I don’t want to watch this!” Hudson apologized, while Wilson negotiated with the salesman.

Denise Richards is putting her Hidden Hills home on the market. And it’s not because of her recent break-up with rocker Richie Sambora, janetcharltonshollywood.com reports. It seems the (desperate?) housewives in the California suburb drove the actress out of the neighborhood. After divorcing Charlie Sheen, she began dating best friend Heather Locklear’s ex-husband (Sambora), so the wives in the close-knit private community gave Richards the cold shoulder and shut her out of neighborhood activities.

Speaking of moves, are Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes selling their Toledo, Ohio mansion? E! Online’s Ted Casablanca reports the multimillion-dollar abode may be on the market after neighbors complained home values and property taxes skyrocketed. Cruise and Holmes may be eyeing a gated community in nearby Tremont, still close to Holmes’ parents.

That bed and breakfast featured in the Tori Spelling-Dean McDermott reality series show is not owned by the Hollywood couple. “It’s a lease, with an option to buy,” Christina Gilmartin, a publicist for “Tori & Dean: Inn Love” on the Oxygen network, told the New York Times. Publicity materials claimed Spelling, 34, sank all of her $800,000 inheritance from her late father, Aaron Spelling, into the Chateau La Rue. But the property still is owned by Christopher and Patricia King, who have the California inn on the market for $2.6 million, the Fallbrook Village News reported.
