New Balance store going solar
Golden-based SunSpot Solar will install a 9,800-watt solar system on the roof of the New Balance store at 3139 S. Broadway in Englewood next week.
The solar system, combined with a recently installed “Cool Roof” compliant roof coating, is expected to eliminate the building’s reliance on power from the grid during daylight hours.
