RIFLE, Colo.-

The co-owner of a camel-ride business was attacked and injured by one of the animals, his wife said.

Erik Kallstrom was injured Monday during a training session with a bull camel, his wife, Carrie Kallstrom, told the Glenwood Springs Post Independent in an e-mail.

She said her husband was expected to make a full recovery, but no other details were released. She did not immediately return a call from The Associated Press Wednesday.

The Kallstroms own and operate the C2K Camel Ranch near Rifle, about 140 miles west of Denver and 50 miles northeast of Grand Junction. They have three camels on the 7-acre property, according to their Web site.
